The experience is a feast for the senses, including snorkelling amidst coral reefs and tropical fish, climbing to panoramic viewpoints, exploring the breathtaking Emerald Lagoon, kayaking through the islands, relaxing on paradise beaches, and spotting wildlife like spectacled langurs (small black monkeys with white eye rings), sea eagles, and even the occasional pink dolphin or whale (seasonal).
The Ang Thong Islands gained global recognition after the novel The Beach by Alex Garland. Although the main beach scenes in the film starring Leonardo DiCaprio were shot on Phi Phi Islands, some stunning sequences were filmed right here among the Ang Thong Islands.
